This item is an interview with Liz Gardiner recorded by Dr Gillian Murray in November 2019 as part of the Scottish Government funded Future development of the Social Enterprise Collection (Scotland) project. It is the oral history of Liz Gardiner's involvement in cultural social enterprises from the 1980s to 2020s, including discussion of community activism in Easterhouse; Fablevision; networks; and cultural planning. Liz Gardiner taught Drama and English to High School students before a spell of maternity leave prompted her to become involved in community theatre groups. She is a founding member and now Director of Fablevision, which supports creative community cultural development. Liz has a Masters degree in Cultural Planning and is currently undertaking a PhD.
